Do I need a prescription for Catheter supplies?

Yes, this product requires a prescription from a healthcare provider. This is due to intermittent catheters being regulated as prescription-only medical devices.

When will you start receiving calls for your resupply?

You will start receiving notifications/phone calls 7 days prior to exhausting your supplies. If you are running low on supplies and have not confirmed your next order. Please call or message us Immediately at 305-209-8455 so we can help you.

When will you get a call?

You will receive a phone call within 24 hours of us receiving your order.

How Many Catheters does Medicare allow me to receive per month?

Medicare Part B allows up to 200 catheters per month. Other insurance plan will typically follow Medicare guidelines, but this can also vary. If you have questions, please feel free to call or message us at 305-209-8455 or place a fill out the information in the free sample request so we can get in contact with you!

Please note that the number of catheters you can receive will be based on your Healthcare providers Written Prescription/treatment plan.

Why does Ease DME need to know my healthcare provider for my catheter supplies?

Since catheters are a prescription only medical device. Ease DME will need to get in contact with your healthcare provider to receive a prescription and in most cases medical justification from your healthcare provider’s progress notes. Ease DME will handle all of this on your behalf in a secure fashion!

What if I need to make changes to my catheter order?

If you are needing to make a change to your order, like the catheter size or frequency you are cathing per day, please call or message us at 305-209-8455 and the team at Ease DME will coordinate with your healthcare provider to get an updated prescription.
